I have worked out something with the factory ball joint problem. These will be made by the same company that produces the "leager" ball joints, designed for your stock arms.
They will be shipping sometime in December. Pre-paid price before 9/30/05 will be $39.95 each, with $5 shipping on the order.

So, 4 ball joints shipped. $164.80

Retail will be higher, so act now.

Will these work with moto a-arms? My uppers are shot. My lowers are probably gone, too.

P.S. Doug, thanx for continuing to look into replacement parts for these machines!

Doug,
I have a check going out to you tomorrow. Do you want it overnighted? I'll give ya a call. Also, Looks like I'll need 4 of these or a new set of a-arms. Thanx for all your help, wanablaze.

Doug the Moto uppers the stud which goes into spindle is about a 1/4 in. longer so a-arm would be higher off spindle.I have no idea why it is like that since if you put shorter one in all you would have to do is adjust joint outward to get camber right.Might have effect on steering though.Since upper pivot point would be different.

C27 the longer balljoint does do something. But I dont remember what, its something 2 degrees??I dont know if it has something to do with steering or travel? I thought 4strokemadman said something about it? I did a search but couldnt find anything.

Doug,
Do you want me to ship the a-arms to ya or just a ball joint? (Are you interested in the a-arms?)

Well, we could be up a creek without a paddle on that.
I have to order 500 of these to make this happen, so it wouldn't be realistic to order another 500 of just the the uppers. Maybe someone could look into making a spacer for the upper motos.
