One question, I see 1 short and 1 long inner race for each side. Is that right? The original has 2 short ones(which are a pain in the hiney!). I'm guessing the short one must go to the outside, through the flat bearings, thrust washers, and seal?

Not sure, haven't put one in yet, but will be installing them this week.

You should be pulling off your swingarm at least once a year to check for rust on bearings and lubing. If you ride in water I would pull the swingarm two or three times a season.Any play or rust and you need new ones.

I just went through this. Mine took the long ones on each side (inside the needle bearing), and a short one on the right where the gap between the motor and swingarm exists. The thrust washers on the outer of the arm pivots, the seals only go in each side. I don't know why there are two short ones? Maybe one for a spare? That is a good price, I paid $55 + ship from Atk.
