Chat server down?

It quit working for me...sad.gif

Is this the begining of the fall of Microsoft?

Ok, that was supposed to be a joke, Jay.

This is what happens when one of my home servers becomes a public server. I'm not running a data center here, and have no intention of building one. We've had alot of thunder storms the last week or so causing power failures, and everytime the power blips I have to reset the chat server.

Jay, don't take me too seriously. I was just joking. Thanx for hosting the chat, however nobody will force you to continue to do so. I tried to make a joke...it didn't work.

I wasn't taking you serious, just pointing out that the server is not in a real production datacenter, and will go down from time to time.

Q8, it stays up just gotta catch people in there. Usually some traffic 9-11 GMT-5

Jay don't you have a backup on that system? Check out the fine product line that APC offers!!

www.apc.com

Perhaps I can ship a backup off to you..

How many watts is the server.. and how long does your power stay off for? I need to know what type of run time is needed.
