Dont those nascar wussies get extra fuel capcity by running a larger diameter fuel hose to the pump?

I imagine if you routed some 5/8th ID or 3/4 Id in a creative fasfion to the fuel pump you could get close to a 1/2 gallon of capacity out of the line.
