ETA?? CLOSE!! Sorry for delay, originally these were paid for and ordered over 1 year ago. I tried giving another member some business, to help pay for his racing habit. Seems, I sponsored him I guess, as I have yet to recieve my conversion kits. Anyway, water under the bridge, lesson learned. The new subframe is aluminum, about 1lb lighter than the chromoly. Also, a couple of changes were made for strength. Notice the seat cushion pads 1/2 down the subframe. These are NOT on a walsh kit, which allows your seat to flex. I noticed it and ziptied some to mine, but this is the proper way. Also, notice angle used to support the front of the seat. I have broken off tabs on the steel frames (maybe I weight too much??) but this will solve that issue. I am taking this bike to NEMX this weekend, and if me and farrer can't break it, then it pass'es the test and I will be ready to ship 2 kits next week, with 2 more kits the following week.
I rode this bike at the NEMX group ride, anyone there can tell you about the kit. It held up fine, even taking a beating through the whoops and a large triple jump as my suspension was WAY soft, and I was bottoming pretty hard all weekend. IF you want one, please respond quickly, I am placing the order for aluminum tomorrow.
