I am getting several pm's a day about the Falicon cranks. Here is the deal: The first batch of 30 cranks are all sold. I have to buy in batches of 15. I will start taking deposits on more cranks today: You must send at least $150 through paypal, or Check/money order. As soon as I get 10 deposits, the order will be placed. This batch should not take that long, as all the R&D work is done. As some of you know, I have one with over 30 hours and it purrs like a kitten.

Price: $850

A couple of things to consider on the price:
1. If you need to stay at 450cc, you can save money and buy a stock piston kit, which is normally $200 below the 450 kit.
2. You will notice a huge improvement on vibration, this alone will cause your engine to last longer.
3. This crank is fully rebuildable. Falicon is not going anywhere anytime soon, so parts will be readily available for quite sometime.

Holy cow speedy. Read the falicon crank thread. These are not sold at ATK. These are falicon cranks! Not stock cranks. These are alot of money becuase they are a complete redesign from the stock setup. Tooling and R&D has to be divided up over the lifetime of the cranks so that jacks up the price also. You are also getting a stroker crank out of the deal, increases CC with the stock bore. Yada yada yada, check out the falicon thread at the top.

The thread explains that.

The falicon is completely rebuildable. If the bearing goes out, you break the rod, any type of failure you can buy a new rod and pin from falicon and have it rebuild for 200 vs having to buy a brand new crank everytime. You also increase ccs in getting this crank. The crank is fully balanced vs the stockers are not. Did I mention the stroker?

And if you think these are high priced because they are cannondales go to the falicon website and look at the 450R or the YFZ strokers.
