First weekend of ice racing
Well our season has finally started yesterday and I entered my 450 dale in the 450 class and in the open. I didn't get a good whole shot in the 450 class, I got rammed from both sides so I started 9th and 6 laps later finish 6th. Then we raced in the open and in this class the 6 time grand national ice racing champ runs a TC pro built 512 big bore stroker Honda and I am on my 450 cannondale that I built right down to porting my own head. This time I was 3rd out of the hole and past for 2nd and if I had 2 more lap I think I might have won. Oh and the 6 time grand national champ finished 3rd a few bike lengths back. But what make this so sweet is I built my motor my self and by doing all the little thing that I read on cannondalerider.com to make my dale run like it does. Thanks to everone on the site.

Sweet, always nice hearing stories like this. Wish I could go back out on the ice, but I am still pretty banged up from my crash last week ice racing. I may even just take the studded tires and sway bar off because bruised ribs are still very painful and from what I hear it takes a few months for them to heal. Keep up the good work!
