Atlantic Grand Prix Event July 15 & 16 Canceled due to flood damage.

To all Atlantic Grand Prix participants regrettably the race scheduled for this weekend July 15 and 16 at North American Warhorse in Dunmore PA is going to be CANCELED DUE TO WATER DAMAGE from the storms at the end of June, that dropped between 12??????? and 14??????? or rainfall on parts of Northeastern Pennsylvania and New York state.

The conditions of the trails up on the mountain behind North American Warhorse are a mess. Both stream crossings are impassable requiring bridges. The trails are all washed out and will require a lot of work.

Now while most club or association promoters might have gone a head and run the race we at Atlantic Grand Prix pride ourselves on putting on only the best races on the best courses anywhere in the Northeastern United States.

For that reason we????????ve decided to cancel just this event and make the weekend of July 15 and 16 a WORK weekend so that we can put in all new course as well as construction of few new bridges. If you????????re interest in helping, we????????ll be parked in the area where we run the races right behind North American Warhorse both days.

If you????????re interested in helping out come on up. Bring loppers, a bow saw or a Chain saw... your bring your quad or bike and if you have construction skills...bridge building is going to be required...we????????ll supply food and drinks.

P.S. The North American Warhorse race for August 5th and 6th is still On!
