Hare Scramble

This is by far the best race district 16 has on its Hare Scramble schedule. Lot of hills and almost all woods. Great camping with a huge clubhouse for showers, food and drinks. My club puts this one on. It's our biggest fund raiser and as some of you know all our funds have gone to our legal battle to keep riding on our clubs land. So it goes to a good cause. I have to see what I have left, but I'll give you a bunch of EVS certificates to hand out at this event. They range from 25% to dealer pricing on EVS gear.

Dont you guys have alot of public land to ride up there?

Last numbers I saw were around 1600 miles of state funded summer trails. Does not include club operated trails.

Yes but it's all to the north about a hour. Nothing for bikes really. Mostly farmland and Lake Michigan by me. All the public trails are two way and now some even allow UTVs so its really scary riding fast. These Harescrambles let you go as fast as you can without worry of a head on. Normally after I run one I don't want to ride for at least a week. It really drains you. Get your moneys worth for sure.
