Well our season has finally started yesterday and I entered my 450 dale in the 450 class and in the open. I didn't get a good whole shot in the 450 class, I got rammed from both sides so I started 9th and 6 laps later finish 6th. Then we raced in the open and in this class the 6 time grand national ice racing champ runs a TC pro built 512 big bore stroker Honda and I am on my 450 cannondale that I built right down to porting my own head. This time I was 3rd out of the hole and past for 2nd and if I had 2 more lap I think I might have won. Oh and the 6 time grand national champ finished 3rd a few bike lengths back. But what make this so sweet is I built my motor my self and by doing all the little thing that I read on cannondalerider.com to make my dale run like it does. Thanks to everone on the site.

Thats great.

It feels good when you do well racing but it just more iceing on the cake when you put the powerplant together that got you there.

Sweet, always nice hearing stories like this. Wish I could go back out on the ice, but I am still pretty banged up from my crash last week ice racing. I may even just take the studded tires and sway bar off because bruised ribs are still very painful and from what I hear it takes a few months for them to heal. Keep up the good work!

True ...however another dismount will put me out another few months. Rather heal up and focus on xc and mx season.

Where can you get a sway bar for a Cannondale?

Rath has the best one. If you have Moto Ohlins or any shock with a piggyback get a wide one for a DS. Otherwise DuraBlue can be made to work. Thats what I have.
