We have had some good rides but that was the best. That group was a special group of people that I will never forget.

I have stayed in the hotels but there just isn't anything like camping out there. It's definitely the way to go but not taking a shower sucks.

Yeh we stayed at best western one night, and camped the next. Camping is definitely the way to go.

The Smethport Motel on Marvin st. looks real close to the trails. Is it any good? I would be pulling a trailer and want security and ample parking.
Any body stayed there?

I didn't know that anyone stayed in Smethport. I thought everyone that stayed in a hotel usually stayed in Bradford. Not that it matters... just news to me if they have.

I just talked to Ken about hotels last night. Smethport is a real no frills basic hotel. But is supposed to be clean and cheap. About $50.00 a night. I am going by myself and wouldn't mind spitting the cost of a room if someone is in the same situation I am in. Ken says the rooms are a good size , so if anyone thinks this might work for them let me know. Bill

Can always leave trailer at majestic in camp and it will be ok. I think that's what some others do.

this sounds like a great time I am gonna try and make it out there if all goes well. Do they have enough room for campers? or is it a tent kinda deal?

Seems like nothing is off limits for us when it comes to camping. I have seen everything from sleeping in vehicles to RVs.

I am trying to make plans and have a few questions. What day do most guys start showing up? How many days do you ride ? I was thinking of getting to Smethport on Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning.
Yahoo maps says 607 miles, from my house . I picked my bike up in Pa. so this would be its homecoming.
