I'm just curious why the stock cannibal seat foam(maybe others as well) gets bumpy (like a pimple or groups of..) under the seat cover? I've seen this on more than just my Dale so I wonder if its trapped water or foam breaking down etc????

I did get that foam to clean up real well. Turned out like this when finished:

I would attribute it to cheap foam. I purchased replacement foam from Hiflite and it was still as good as new after a year and a half.

Yah, the quad is actually an 01 FX400 with a Blaze seat. Needed something with softer seat foam and gripper cover.

I never had that happen to either of my seats but have seen it happen on other quads. Just something that happens over time it appears.

Where I hang of the side mine is doing that with around 25hours on it. I think I'm going for a quadtech cover from Doug!

Derno just curious was the foam from Hiflite pre-cut to fit or did you just get a chunk of foam and hack away?
