Pulling Balljoints?

I'm trying to put new Ball Joints in my Moto Arms, I pulled the circlip but the ball joint will not come out, I figured it would be a challenge, but jesus!

Whats the best way to go about doing this without screwing up the powdercoating?

I use a press, put a big socket over the end and press it out.

You will probably destroy the boot, but I only replace when their bad anyway.

Auto Tech class is great.

17 1/2 ton press?....not a problem:)
