Thats what i think happend how bad would that be to let it go untill after budds this weekend i talked to my dad and i need a teather kill switch by this weekend too is there anything else i need to race my dale Thanks Austin and yeah my bolts are tight
...every upward bump of the stem will toe-out your front tires, for very weird and possibly dangerous handling. I'd be worried in a racing situation, and fix it first.
so ur saying if i dont fix it i will strip my treads out of my stem ? and i noticed the wheels move when in my yard how hard are they to replace? will another bikes bearing kit work? or just cannondale cu i know the wheels are like that  Thanks, Austin
I was thinking about your mention of racing, and high speed whoops with all of that abrupt yanking up and down. The threads are protected really by what is left of the bearing, but the rest of the lower stem could get chewed up down there. A racer should chime in here, and will probably tell you to fix it before any riding. You could do the job in less than 2 hours.
