I never got around to trying it. I have a 250r nearby that I could try but I have been busy getting mine running right.

I will be a bit vague here but in doing the moto shocks I have noticed that the later 03 shocks are actually a little shorter than earlier ones.Only reason I can think of for this is the tierods hitting frame/frog.Mine are longer and do hit.Even with the 03 steering stem which had frog located lower.
