Hi,

I have an Ohlins rear shock that had a conversion done to it (I think TCS) and it looks like the lower stopper has been cut down to one rib and the shock does not seem to be able to go all the way down to the stopper. Any thoughts on this? It seems like I have lost a some travel due to an internal stopper? Any thoughts?

Thanks

God bless...

Mark

Even with bumpstop removed the shock should be able to be compressed fully. Not by hand though.285psi nitrogen and very heavy valving make a good fresh shock impossible to compress by hand even a 1/4" unless in machine. If yours compresses then stops before bottoming out something is wrong.Sounds to me like it is low on oil.
