Oversized Handlebars?

#1 Post by Ballistic Atv »

Hey,
I have a cannondale cannibal, and I am trying to find out the cheapest way to mount oversized handlebars (tag t2's) without having to buy an aftermarket steering stem.
If I bought the universal oversized bar mount kit that comes with t-2's and bar pad, would I be able to bolt that up to my stock stem? Would the cr-high bend be a good bend choice? Or would it be to low? Also, does anyone still sell the moto/ blaze keyplates?
Which is a better bar, the answer pro-tapers, renthal fat bars, or tag t-2's??

Thanks,
Matt Fischer

All the bars you just mentioned are about the same, yes you can use the universal mount kit and it will work fine. You can also use an aftermarket mount kit on your stem. As far as bar selection, that is a personal choice. I think the cr high bend is to far swept back on the ends. I like the Doug Henry bend, as they are nice and straight on the ends. Let me know, I keep bars in stock.
