When I called Ohlins. I was given 2 conflicting rerports. 1. there was no way to do this. 2. That you could, but the price was way out of line, something like $2,000 for the fronts alone. Just figured forget it and get aftermarket.

Yup, this can be done....

Here's a PM that I got from Timbomoose when I asked him about his:

Hi,
The shocks are the stock speed ohlins with clicker remote res. added. The shocks were done by rbtool racing who make them for snowmobiles. He adds the clicker to the stock shock and uses amsoil for the shock oil.I am very pleased wih the shocks. The clicks range from 1 to 9. I use #3-4 for fast trail riding and 9 for the track. My brother also got a set added to his cannibal after he road mine and is very pleased. He charges around $150 per shock for the add on.
Ride On!

So there you go! I'll find a pic of his quad and post it a little later.

That is awesome. I didn't find Ohlins very helpful at all. I may track down a set for this conversion.

You could sell the Speed Ohlins for 150.

The cost of the conversion for 2 shocks is 300.

So you have 450 tied up in them if you go that way.

Break your piggy bank and you can have Triple rate, ZPS, TCS from Doug for not THAT much more.

But I'd never try to spend your money for ya tongue.gif
