My handle bar on my 03 Cannibal has alot of play to it. I can move it about 1/2"-3/4" with out the tires moving. Do the tie rods wear out fast? Thanks

They wear out fast. I've got like 12 brand new ones lying in a box that I got for like $20. I've went through 2 sets this past year on the Dale and it wasn't ridden much at all. The ATK will need them in a few races as well.

You could also get some ends from Rod End supply too. I also think they sell the boots for the tie rod ends.

I checked the tie rod ends and there is quiet a bit of play, so I guess I will hunt for some new ones. Thanks

Derno,
Give us more info on rod end supply. Do they have a web site? How about a phone number and some part numbers?

do a search. i posted the part#'s.
www.rodendsupply.com last set i had only lasted about 6 races though:mad:
go with the ones blackwidow sells and get a sat of the rubber booties from ebay. with the booties and ends you'd be looking at practically the cost of the ends only from rod end supply. plus your helping a site sponcer.

Rookie the ones on Rick's Cannondale are rod end supply and they are still tight after several races and rides.
