All Balls Swingarm Bearings

#1 Post by KRMit »

I got a new swingarm and an All Ballz bearing kit. After putting the kit together and putting the swinger back on the bike there's some play in the bearings. You can grab the rear tires and shift the swingarm side to side. The swingarm doesn't move from side to side, but rather front to back... if that makes sense. Is that kit complete or do you have to use something else as well?

if the old swing arm bearings were completely shot chances are the bolt is also.

I didn't replace the bolt so I guess that could be the culprit.

post a pic of what you installed, the order and the bolt. Did it still move side to side after torquing down the bolt? Mine moved around only before the bolt was tightened, but not after tightening down the bolt to the proper torque.
