Powdercoating Frame

I just got my frame back . And it looks SWEEEEEET!!!!! They said it baked no hotter than 325 degrees.

If it didnt go any higher than 325 you should be in business. Our powdercoater said 425 is what he uses. Congrats.

Powdercoating Frame

I started the quad for the first time today. Rode it about 5 minutes. The left side of the frame was fairly hot to the touch. Not sure how hot it usually got before powdercoating. To throw in another factor is it also has the SBM Comp IV. I will be doing some trail riding tomorrow for a few hrs then off to the dyno. I'll keep you all posted.

SBM 450 and PowderCoating Frame

My quad is all done. Got it all back together Friday. Saturday I did the break in and put it on the dyno. When my motor was stock I dyno'ed at 37.1 HP with custom map. When I dyno'ed with SBM Comp IV and their map I got 38.1 HP. We then played with some of the calibrations and were able to get 43.8 HP. I will be having a custom map done in the next couple of weeks. Should be able to pull 2-4 more ponies.
As far as the frame, it has held up. No signs of weakness.
