I've also heard that the 4/1's give you better steering/handling - any truth to that? I plan on getting 4/1's for sure just because I'll be running +3s on one of my setups and I'll need to use them to keep it under 50". I might run the 4/1's on the Blaze setup too, just depends on how many sets of tires and wheels I have and if I want to be switching them around all the time!

Standard travel +2's are going to be quite a bit easier to find than the +1's I would say. Even Lonestar has +2's I'm pretty sure.

That's not a bad idea. The only reason I wanted to look at +1 set-up is the fact I already have hipers at the standard offset. Maybe I will just switch them off and on for the races. Who knows. I like the ideas I am getting this is why I posted this. I wasn't sure about +2 because I was always under the assumption that anything bigger than a +1 was long travel. Thanks for the idea's.

Just for reference

I ran the +2's with Cannondale offset wheels and was right at 48" up front.

I'm running Diamond Racing arms, their built to Moto specs which I believe is around +2.75. I switched to 4/1 front hipers, but I'm moving them to my woods quad with Houser +1's

it's listed at 46" but that's the rear. Front is around 44" I believe, I'd measure but I don't have a stock one:D

I am going to check now. I will post in a few minutes. I was just hoping that you already had the measurement.

If you guys want +1 a-arms for the standard length shocks, I'll build them....We have a set of +2's on christa's bike, doing a set of +1's is a piece of cake on our fixtures. see www.diamondracingatv.com for pics and styles available.
