Spray some penetrating lube on it and let it set for a while. Mine was full of sand and seized on last time I had to take it off and I just lubed it up good and worked it back and forth unitl it came off.

2 retaining clips? I dont see any retaining clips for the preload nut. I thought the clips were for the sprocket hub and rotor hub?

If there is a clip anywhere near that nut I cant see it.

Sprayed fast break on it twice and let it soak. Put it this way I can lift the quad and the lift off the ground with the amount of torque I am applying to it. Just will not come off.

Well after soaking this nut 3 times with fast break and having a neighbor sit on the quad. It requires quick jerks to unseize the thing. But nonetheless we got it off.

Thanks all for the help. I may be back for installation tips though. smile.gif
