jaybr said in his earlier post that +2's will only be 48" with stock wheels that is misleading for newcomers reading the post when it will be mx width at 50" with 3+2 wheels and 48 with the 4+1
wheels

I voted +1 w/long shocks. This is my opinion for new production units. This would need to be coupled with the 4/1 offset wheel, too.

Although it would be nice to offer something that will retrofit for all of us "Cannondalers", I don't feel that should be a primary consideration. Typically, OEM parts are just as or more expensive than aftermarket stuff. At that pricepoint, I don't think you'll get too many people buying the ATK arms over the aftermarket companies. Now, if the oem prices were a bit lower, you could pick up some business with a +1, 16" arm. In any case, I would hope/expect that whatever you come up with will fit a "Cannondale".

And thanks for asking!!!!

Ah, this is where the confusion comes in, have you ever measured a stock front end?

The quad was listed at 46" wide, but that was at the rear axle and the front is narrower. Stock front end is more like 44".

I had a set of +2 arms and was not 50" with stock offset wheels.

now, the reason that +3 arms put the quad over 50" with stock wheels is because just about everyone with +3 arms also run ZPS shocks, and the more you sag the front end the wider it gets.

I stick to my original statement:p

Yep - these numbers are not concrete and will vary quite a bit depending on the sag that you have in your suspension.

With Moto arms and stock offset rims lowered for TT it will just fit through the bar so yes ride height does make a big difference.
