yea mike, they're shot! I hope the replacements i did a while back last better with the QS boots on them. They're not hard to install, just gotta do it.

I still have the same question though how do you keep the bolt that goes through the heim from spinning if the boot is over the top of the allen head????

You pull the boot up onto the tierod, tighten the bold then pull the boot back over the heimjoint. If you guys need pic, let me know and I'll take some. They are very easy to install!

i have the earlier 2002 cannibal model so the steering stem mounts are not lower, can i still use 400ex tierod ends or will the bend or break. thanks mike

rod ends are $25ea and boots are $10ea
