well, it is an 8 inch spring and its stamped 650 on the bottom:cry:

Yikes...I'm 180 and have mine setup for pro GNCC and it has a 600lb spring. Are you sure the sealhead isn't blown? Or is your swingarm extended?

one other hting i noticed whan i took it off, on the bottom side there is a small film of oil like its weeping a bit. it still has nitrogen in it because you can definately tell the difference whn you change the compression from soft to hard. more problems i take it?

should i send it to elka, or have my local shop recharge and refill the oil? we used to do it when i worked there so i know they can do it. the only thing that leaves me baffled is that the shock has felt exactly the same right out of the box from elka the first two times

You will need to replace the seals too. I can turn it around pretty quick for you.

i only have one weekend that we are not racing in the next month. i can send it out monday may 17th, but i need it in my hands on friday may 28th
