what is the proper way to setup your bike for TT? Like afco shocks for the front? What do you do to lower the rear properly? What is the legal widths limits? I am just kinda wondering since it has never been dicussed. Is it just a motorcross style setup with swaybar and TT tires or is there more? Someone here know how to make a TT racer the right way

Depending on the track,if it's rough with a few jumps mx setup will work.Hoosier tri-trac's(loose dirt) or american racer's(blue groove),swaybar(setup neutral depending again on the track),shocks built for tt is best(I am planning on getting some afco"s myself) or lower your mx shocks, rear converted to zps has worked for me.50 inch is max width, but i have been doing better at around 48.

When I raced the gnc mx/tt series. I ran a full 250r chassis with PEP zps setup which dropped me down to the ground with no lowering struts. The quad set about 4-41/2 inches of the ground. I used this setup with jumps or no jumps. Every track has a different setup. Ive run practice early morning, setup was great, heat race was later in the day, that setup that was so great in practice got me to the lcq later that night. This has been awhile though,1997-1998 seasons. So things might have changed a little since then.
