Ohlins rear spring numbers

#1 Post by MI_CDALE_Rider »

What do these numbers mean in terms of spring strength and what quad they might have came on (i.e. blaze, speed etc..)

698-36/105 L192

The L192 is sort of fuzzy, but I think those are the right digits from the spring.

Thanks

The 105 number is the strength it = 10.5
No way of knowing what they came on, my 2001 MX400 had a 105

I had researched this a while back:

the 698 refers to the size series, at 57mm ID x 230mm length

the 36 is the springrate series.
the 36 series springrate = 105 newton meters

that L192 is just a lot number, and said by Ohlins to be technically meaningless.
