I traded some engine work and parts for a wer damper and a map select kit.

1.... Do I need his ECU to use properly?

2.... and this damper no matter how I crank the knob goes from some tension to stiffer tension but I just can't turn it off? ( I had a scotts but I could virtually turn it off, this one I can't)

3.....Also what goes between the clamp and the stem ? rubber metal or what?

Anybody have any tips for me and if it needs rebuilt- which would be sucky because it didn't fit the clamp on the stem and just spun freely anyways ____who is good for sending it to ?

Thanks for you input

Quick question...why would you want to turn the dampner off?

I don't know but my ohlins damper turns virtually off and this wer rotary doesn't, so I wasn't sure it was working properly

I think he means on the softest setting on the ohlins he couldnt feel the pressure of the damping from the dampner and the wer does not go as soft as the ohlins and the dampning is more noticable biggrin.gif
