z400 or works shocks on my cannondale?

Well i finally got a job where i dont have to work weekends anymore and our local series starts in a month. I've got the cannondale and I've got a 2006 z400. I wasn't sure which to race, but i'm thinking the cannondale so maybe i can put a beating on those honda boys in my class .


Anyways, my question is this. i have a set of works shocks that are triple rate with rezzies. The problem with those is that they are 16 1/2- 16 3/4 inches tall and the stock cannibal shocks are 15 1/2- 15 3/4, so it raises the front end about an inch. I was thinking about taking the z400 shocks and using them on the cannondale. I've used them a little on a practice day and they were really good on the track i rode. Does anyone know what the limit of the z400 shocks are? What would you guys do, works or z400?
