Anyone know any websights that have the rundown on front alignment procedure and specs.I thougt I bookmarked a sight a while back but can't find it now.
I am trying to set up the front end on my 2002 cannibal with plus 2 arms and Ohlins triple rates .

Ok, I got the front end dialed in but when I was adjusting toe in I noticed the steering stem moves up and down about 3/8 inch.It has a Houser stem in it.It looks like the lower bearing is moving up and down inside the mount,almost like it is missing something.
any ideas? I have 3 other Dales but all have stock stems so I have nothing to compare to.

It seems like everything on this bike is either done wrong or half wrong.I'm not happy with the person who sold it to me.

compare it to your other ones. Is it possibly somewhat stretched out like the bearing is about to rip out of it possibly. Or not bolted tight?

It is bolted tight.Is there supposed to be a retaining ring on top of the bearing?

On a stock set-up, there isn't a retaining ring, but it isn't a standard roller bearing. The inner race has a 1/4-3/8" flange on one side of the inner race. Some of the replacement bearings have a standard inner race and you have to add a spacer to it. That could very well be where your play is coming from.

I took out the bearing and it seems that the bearing is ok but it is not tight in the holder. I don't know if the two halves that hold the bearing are worn or if the outer part of bearing is worn.
I took the bearing plate off a spare walsh stem and put it in ,it seems fine now .

If anyone has a bearing and it's holder let me know.

I picked one up from Blackwidow a couple months ago. Does it have the extended flange or a spacer? Just wondering if it's the stock set-up or if Walsh changed their set-up.
