Do 400ex a-arms fit a dale?

I'm looking at Houser +2 +1 and don't want to buy and they don't fit.

They fit but should be caster/camber adjustable otherwise you can't adjust the front end correctly. You may need cone adapters as well to fit our spindles.

I have a set of Houser and TCS shocks I'm looking to part with.

Are the Honda arms the same when it comes to with and plus forward measurement? I mean is plus 2 the same for both bikes? And plus forward the same also?

I believe they are pretty much the same. I think the 250r arms should be +1 forward. Of course that depends on the year of the 250r arms.

And to 2003cannondale, if they 400ex arms aren't camber adjustable, you will need to run the 400ex spindles. You can use the entire 400ex front end.

Even when using the entire front end it is not correct. The tierods will bind against the frame unless you grind down the frame. I would not recommend it...just because it bolts up does not mean it works correctly.

Did you mount the whole front end on? I haven't actually tried it yet. All my info is based on research from this website and cannondaler. I have read that the tierods will hit if you only use the 400ex shocks. But I haven't read anything about them hitting while using the entire front end. I stand corrected if that is the case.

It was the entire front end from spindles to hubs, calipers, etc. I picked up a machine that had a houser +2 front end with that setup and the tierods would hit the frame under compression. It is not unlike the early style cannondale stems which do the same.

My brain isn't functioning completely right now so this may be a stupid question but... Do you think the length of the arms has an effect on the tierods? So they're hitting the upper frame rail at full compression? Are the houser +2 mounting points exactly the same as the stock honda width mounting points?

Don't take this the wrong way. I'm not questioning your experience. I'm trying to find a solution.

It is the spindles that would cause it not the length of the arms. I would think the 400ex Houser arms are the same as the stock honda since they are designed for that machine.

Could it be the compressed length of the shock is wrong allowing the arms to travel to far up?
