Anyone ever try a long travel rear shock setup?

Shocks, a-arms, swingarms, tires, brakes, etc..

Hi Steve,

Yes I am looking to sell the roller mount as a kit in a few months after I test it well :-) With the roller kit you can get the same travel from a 16.25" eye to eye shock using the stock mount point. I also made an adapter to reangle the 17.5" PEP shock.

God bless...

Hi,

By the way anyone near Casa Grande AZ this sat is welcome to come b y Motolan MX park if they want to see this in action. Also, I need to get a stiffer spring for this shock but it uses like a 2.8 in inner diameter spring, anyone have a used PEP 400 or stiffer x8" rear spring to sell? (I have a 350 right now acording to PEPs records and inscription)

THanks

God bless...

HI,

So my day at Motoland was a blast! The extra travel is amazing. Even though the shock is too light on the spring rate, it was still really tough to get it to bottom out.

You can see the extra travel by looking at the rear tire compared to the nerf bars. Just can't stop smiling :-D :-D Thank God it works.

God bless...

HI,

Seems to be working well so far. (Ok actually very well, but don't want to rub it in :-) I have learned a few things I need to change, but still working well. I switched to a 14t front sproket to make sure that it still works and so far so good. Hoping for one mre test before I move.

Thanks
for asking.

God bless...

Hi Steve,

Thanks :-) I am using that PEP ZPS from a 250r no link system. Workes well other than a small oil leak. Got to fix that and then its awesome.

God bless...
