Hi, I'm going to try and service my forks soon...don't know what I'm doing.

Anyway, in the back (pg. 13) of the Ohlins owners "manual" (booklet) for the forks, it shows five service tools.

#2 is an "inner tube tool" and #4 is a "cylinder tube tool (cartridge)". The manual doesn't show when they are required...

Can anyone tell me if they're actually needed, and at what stage of disassemby/reassembly? & if needed, any alternatives?

Thanks!

Just did my seals. The manual and Jerry @ Ohlins says to heat the tube before sliding out the bushings and seal.Definitely use the heat . Make it hot to touch. The aluminum outer tube expands and the bushings come out much easier. I did the same for reassembly.
