Hi people,

Ok so I stripped my calipers so I could get them mirror polished, I've now got them back.
I tried fitting the pistons into the holes and for love nor money can I get them in!
Does anybody know how to put the pistons back into the calipers the right way please??
Thanks guys
Jay

Sounds like the polisher buffed metal over into the piston bore. I had a similar issue with powdercoated calipers I did once. I took a file and beveled the extreme edge at an angle.

Yer I thought that too,
but on closer inspection the problem is that the rubber seal closest to the leading edge of the hole without the seal in it sits in nicely, with the seal in it just wont go??
I've tried forcing it in and all that did was spit the seal and cut it in half.
Very annoying!!!
Any ideas man??
Is there a particular way to slide it in with the seal maybe?
