Will Elka 400ex shocks work on a cannondale?

Shocks, a-arms, swingarms, tires, brakes, etc..

Depends on shock length/stroke, front end you're running, it. Most of the 400EX shocks I've seen had too much stroke compared to length which would cause the tierods to bend up and smack the frame on the ground possibly. The first Dale I saw years ago did that with 400EX shocks

The shocks are triple rate standard travel 16 1/4 eye to eye I'd be putting them on either lonestar long travel +3 a arms or my Walsh long travel +3 +1 a arms what do you think ? Will that work?

Depends on the shock requirements. Lodestar made standard and long travel but I thought Walsh only made long travels for CDales. Regardless, you need to know the shocks required for your front end. (Length and stroke) and also figure out the same on the 400EX shocks. Most likely you'll need the stroke shortened which will make a pair of used CDale shocks less most likely.

I dont think that length shock will work with long travel arms, the front will be very low.

Yeah its not going to be ideal with std travel shocks and LT arms.
