Will cannondale steering stem fit on a 400ex

Anyone know if the dale steering stem will work on a 01 400ex? Thanks in advance

I am almost certain that it will not work. I am thinking the outside diameter of the stem is larger on the dale and the plate on the bottom is a bit different too.
