Any special tricks you guys know? I've been trying to bleed my fronts for days with no luck...
Using a honda 450r master cylinder
New dual streamline lines
Stock dale calipers
Solid stream of fluid from the bleeders, have tried 2 different master cylinders and the Pistons move freely. Still no pressure. Almost through and entire bottle of dot 4.....what am I missing?
bleeding brakes
Crack the line loose at the master cyllinder to get the air out at the top of the lines. Make sure to pull the lever all the way forward for a few seconds to let fluid in through the fill port . Pushing the pistons back in will help push the air back into the master. Dual lines can cause trouble because of the extra amount flexible material and volume. The single line with a tee is better for brake feel and less spongyness.
The last time I bleed my brakes on my car I used a check valve to keep air from getting back in the line, it worked great.
It certainly made the entire process a lot easier.
