I am needing a different rate rear spring for my 440X. Currently my rear shock has a 698-31 spring. I have a call in to Ohlins and they said they will get back to me.
I noticed that some of the quads have a heavy spring. Looking for a 698-36 or 698-39. One of those should help. Anyone have one laying around?

Hi Mr. Foot!

How are you my Brother?

I have 3 brand new never used or installed Ohlins rear shock springs in excellent nos condition...factory yellow paint perfect and lettering printed on them perfect, they are as follows:

698-36 / 105 010
698-36 / 105 509
698-36 / 105 L102

Not really sure what the last numbers after the / means though...spring rate? Might ask Ohlins to clarify or someone might chime in on that answer!

Also have a factory Ohlins rear shock spring compressor (NFS) if you need me to change the spring for you instead of doing it the hard way!

Let me know if interested in one...or which one!...I can send pics if you want!

You know how to contact me!

Ciao!, Mike W. in KY

Hey Mike.
I have one coming from another member. It's a 698-36 105.
698 is series. 36 and 105 are weight rating.
I appreciate the help. Trying to get this thing dialed in. Found out rear shock was leaking and spring rate has been too light since I bought the bike. No time like the present.

Good deal Mr. Foot...Glad you found one!....Yeah I looked in my Ohlins dealer shock manual and found that was the spring rate after I posted that...Duh wacko.gif ...should have known that as many Euro bikes I own that came with Ohlins suspension! Ciao Brother!!
