interchangeable A-arms

..Iv been trying to learn more about interchangeable a-arms from other ATV's..From best i know Honda's with bolt on,but will not fit the spindles?..
But what I'm really wanting to know is how different is the plus forward from one bike to the other? Iv read the 400ex's plus 1 forward is plus 0" on a Cannon?
Also what about 250r's? will they bolt on like 400ex's will? What about the forwardness on them? I think 250's are different form different years? When you read about 250r arms what year is the standard that they go by?And how are those from a 400ex's?..
