250r shocks and a-arms

#1 Post by Ballistic Atv »

Hey,
I am looking at buying a set of used works triple rate pro series shocks with rebound and compression adjust and burgard 3+1 a-arms, both are set up for a 250r. Now, my question is, will the a-arms fit on my cannondale cannibal without having to grind any of the mounts down? Will the shocks need to be revalved for the cannondale even if they are set up for the 3+1 a-arms. Will the plus one affect the steering or handling on the cannibal??

Thanks

The arms will fit the frame tabs fine, the ball-joints will not fit the spindles. Big Winky makes an adapter that will fix that problem.

Honda arms are -1 from a Cannondale so a +3+1 Honda is like a +3+0 dale.

Not sure about the shock valving, should be pretty close I guess. You will need spacers for the shocks at the frame mount.

you definitely have to grind the pivots. I did. And you have to use the stock upper shock bushings, they actually work nicer than most aftermaket bushings.
