I know everyone has one. I'm considering getting a-arms. I'm not fast enough to justify wlash or Housser, So has any ony got any experience with the Action Racing A-Arms or the American racing A-Arms, I've currently got standard length Elka's ( to help the old bones ) and really don't want to have to get new long travel shocks. I run several of the GNC MX Nationals but I'm currrently trying to run some Hare Scrambles ( those trees do hurt ) but I'm learning to miss them. A little late in life to learn but hey I'm enjoying it and that's what matters. Any comments or suggestions. Any contacts to save money also. The wife's not to keen on me dropping more money into the dale, so price does matter.

Honestly, you would probably be fine the way you are now. I know Jeff @quadshop is one fast guy and he is running stock a-arms. You might try some spacers or offset wheels for your occasional mx. I think the shocks make the most difference. But I run Houser on my bike and love them. I wouldn't trade them for any other brand. I have one with +1 and can swap wheels and do some mx and gncc with the same bike.

Spacers???

Which syle do you recommend?? Are they safe for jumping, I once heard that you shouldn't use spacers for MX only for TT racing. So what do you recommend and do you have any New or used?? Thanks for the help.

ii had some eBay bought wheel spacers, which were steel screw on stud type spacers, which went on ym first quad, a Tecate 250, and i rode on them for about a month, then sold the quad to a brothers friend, and hes a VERY BIG guy..and he rails the SHIZNIT out of that quad, and they have held up. I mean this guy is like a sasquatch, lol, but i suggest checking out eBay, but if you race MX..even just C class slowly, i wouldnt get the really wide ones, just the 1.5 inch ones, i back them up.

And on another note, my dad is 53, going on 54, and he rides a ds650 and when he has a snort of jack daniels, he can shure scoot on that rotax beast!!!! :drink: lol, so our not the only older guy out there. But he pays for it at the end of the day, thats when the rest of the jack daniels comes in handy, and the Aleve tongue.gif . He loves the cushy DS suspension. Anyways, enough babbling, l8er.

Ohh, i LOVE the ASR arms, they are rock solid by me, and i jump the shux out of them. Im selling mine only for LT. But id suggest wheel spacers as the ones i talked about, or offset wheels. Hope this helps in succession to the other replies.

The durablue spacers are pretty nice. I had a guy up here keep breaking axles, I think he went through 2 Durablue and 1 Lonestar axle and finally ended up with a stocker and Durablue spacers. Haven't heard from him again about an axle.
