Ohlins/works shocks

..Hello i know this has been asked b4,but I'm still stumped..I have stock Speed shocks,but I'm going to go to +2 arms.I know i want ssd on them,but what else can be done to them,compress adj?,rebound adj?..And how much? I called Jeff today,if i can remember him right he told me he can do ssd,and valving?..and thats it?..And he can also ssd the rear also..
Or i thought id just get works,I don't hear bad things about them,but i don't hear great things about them either?..But i think for the money it'd be the way to go? I can get triple rates,and i think comp and rebound adj?..I think?..for the same money in the Ohlins?
Also,what about long travel?..is there really anything to gain with the front have more travel then the back??..I heard of someone working on a long back.But i don't want to buy a new swing arm.
I mainly just hard play ride and dunes i do jump,but i don't try to clear buildings,whoops more then anything.....Thanks Patrick
