Swing arm and Shock torque

What shoule the swing arm bolt be torqued at when installing. Also what should the fox shock on a Cannonball be torqued at??

The manial say 55 lb*ft for the swingarm bolt and 40 lb*ft for the shock mounting bolts. With my experience with the grade 8.8 hardware C'dale used, I'd only torque the shock bolts to 30 lb*ft. I've broken a couple of them trying to get to 40.:confused:

Those are the books numbers and my suggestions, take it with a grain of salt and do what you think is best for you!

What nrath? You don't like securing your broken lower shock bolt with a zip tie for 10 miles of WFO hatfield trail?:eek:

Ive used a coat hanger with good results...

The a arm bolts bind up when tightened to tightly

A-arms are by feel. Make sure they arn'e binding. Swing arm I just hit it with the impact gun. For some reason mine always seems to work it's way loose. Shock bolts I just go to tight on the rachet with the box wrench on the other side. I have heard factory torque numbers were either too low for some parts and too high for others.
