adjusting ohlin shocks?

Can anyone help me with adjusting my ohlin shocks....they are very stiff right now...I would like to make them a soft as possible i dont jump it much just trail ride? Thanks for the help

I am guessing Cannibal or Speed Ohlins shocks? I think they adjust with the normal pre-load adjustment spanner wrench style, right? See where that is adjusted to and go softer (less tension on the spring) and see what that does for ya.

yea its the regular ohlins without the rezzies...i still cant figure out how to adjust them ?

There's very little adjustment available with these shocks.
At the top of the spring, there is 2 large collars which can be turned 3 times...
Soft, Medium and Hard.
There is a special tool for doing this but if you think wisely you may find another way wink.gif

big channel locks, pipe wrench, take them off and use a bench vise, BFH and a punch:( sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif these aren't the best way, but they're a way:( sad.gif
