Rim offset Matching

If I go with a 4/1 front offset to make things narrow for woods riding. What off set am I going to use for the rear?

Right now I am exactly 50" Front and rear using stock rims.

+2 Arms and a Axecaliber axle.

And just for verification, 400ex rims should fit fine, correct?

Honda's rear offset is 4/5 compared to C'dale's 3/6.

Honda wheels will bolt right up no prob, except for the lug nuts. You'll need tapered lugnuts. They're like 4.50 each at a Honda dealer. RMATV sells them for much less.

Thanks!

I was getting a little tired of the bump steer yesterday. Not to mention nearly snapping my wrists off when I introduced my tires to trees and rocks. They setup now is nice for MX, but for XC I can see early signs of broken bones!!!

You can also just move the spacers on the rear axle to the outside of the hub and narrow the rear a couple inches.

I already did that part. But with the stock rims it's still right at 50".

Something doesn't sound quite right, it should be at 50" with the axle at full extension, moving the spacers should narrow it a couple inches.

That's kinda what I thought too. But the spacers are one the outside of the rims. I am running the stock rims and tires too. And it's exactly 50". The valve stems are on the outside, so I assumed they are facing the stock direction.

What size tires are you running?

Stock rear width is 46", the LSR axle should be +2+4 adjustable so you should be at 48" with the spacers moved and stock wheels/tires. I am assuming that is the width you would want since your front will also be at 48" when you switch to 4/1 wheels.

Yep, 48" would have to a little better in the woods than a solid 50".

I'll measure the axle. I know the spacers are already on the outside of the rims and it sits the same width front and back.

you'll need to drill the holes out to 10mm if using honda wheels also. are you using cannondale hubs on the axle or maybe there's 400 ex hubs on there. i'm with jaybr, something's wrong.
