guys
just a small quick question for ya

i was changing my header pipe/ tightnening down the header bolts, and when i finished i went to swing the rear shock back into place, and the hole in the top of the shock was not in line with the two holes in the frame so the bolt could slide through.

it seems as if its compresses about 3-5mm b/c it wont align now and i can fit the bolt back into place?

how can i lenghten the shock so i can fit that top shock mount bolt back into place?

thanks!

Just lift the rear of the swingarm up enough to get the shock lined up. The shock is a little shorter than full travel because it limits suspension travel so nothing binds up.

i really don't understand what you're talking about:confused:

when you unbolt the top of the shock you have to support the back of the bike or leave it fall on the ground. when you put it back together just pick up the rear of the bike until the shock bolt lines up and then slide the bolt in and tighten the nut. done.

does that help?
