Front A-ARM Bushing play?

#1 Post by drbowtie »

I am just starting to get a little bit of play in my front A-ARMS. It's where they bolt to the frame. Does someone make new bushings? Or has someone else fixed this problem and how? I assume it's the bushings...

The bushings and the metal inserts go after a while. PM Timbomoose he has a ton of them and they aren't super expensive either!

Well,

After additional messing with... It comes to my attention that it is not those it's the tie rod ends and the upper ball joint on the left side. So, does anyone make a better ball joint for the tie rods?

I'll have to find the number, but www.rodendsupply.com makes one. i am also looking into another option which I am currently using. They have been tight for over a year now, but took me a while to get. I'll find the part # for rodend and post it again.

As for the Ball Joint. i hear that ATK has taken away all the bad ones. Don't know how true that is, but I went aftermarket for a-arms so different ball joints for me.
