Shock upgrade

I have an 03' Speed that came with the non rezzie Ohlins. They are way too stiff for the dunes where I primarily do my riding. Are the triple rate rezzie Works shocks a viable upgrade? If not any suggestions without breaking the bank?

Works shocks are very nice for woods and dunes riding. As soon as you start riding MX then the Works shocks start showing their weakness.

I've got TCS triples w/ rez on my bike, and I've been very happy with them.. not quite as expensive as an Elka, but not as low cost as a works..

Try switching the olhins over to dual rate with upper springs/sleeves from Blaze or Moto shocks for a cheap upgrade. That will soften them up considerably for the first couple inches of travel and give you a much plusher ride.

Glamis shocks are easier on the wrists then the Speed shocks..

I'd put up something in the wanted forum, anyone who has had a zps conversion on their shocks would probably have them. Also try Haydug and Quadshop, they may have them too.

Ohlins sells them, but you don't want to pay what their asking.
