Cannondaleriders

I was wondering in order to make the bars slightly lower on my bike could i have the bar mounts machined down like a 1/4 inch or a half inch to drop the height of the bars or would they then be to week

:confused: Why not just switch to a handlebar with a lower height?

LOL i could do that to....i was just wondering if it was a possibility or not??
